•CIONET Italia Award 2012 is an Italian award dedicated to the CIO’s of the biggest “Made in Italy” companies, organized and promoted by CIONET Italia.
•The prestigious award will be attributed to 3 Italian CIO’s having driven value-creating projects inside their organizations.
•Strategy Driven, Technology Driven, Client Driven are the 3 categories which will be awarded in Milan on June, 4, 2012.

At the Christmas party that gathered both Swiss and Italian teams in Santhià, Italy, Luciano Benassi, Sosoftware’s CEO, put an emphasize on some key elements and achievements in 2011:
First of all, he stressed that what we are building together, at Sosoftware, is that ”we are changing the way companies are using mobile phones. Thanks to all of us, businesses improve internal processes and become more efficient. ”

And here are a couple of pictures taken at the Christmas party. The conditions had been hectic for those coming from Switzerland.
Unfortunately, not everybody could be present, but they were present with us in thoughts.
As you might already be aware of, Solo mobile solutions is able to be interfaced to any enterprise PBX/telephony system, giving therefore big flexibility to customers, who can enhance their existing infrastructure with Solo.
It was then a natural move to present Solo in tight conjunction with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, offering Alcatel-Lucent’s customers and partners communication solutions integrating the mobilty at the highest degree.
On October 12 and 13, ICT-Distribution SA, our swiss distributor, invited their partners during 2 days events to discover what’s new for them from Avaya, Imagicle and Sosoftware.
Sosoftware announced the launching of Solo for iPhone End of October and the new release of the SoBox, allowing for large scale mobile deployments, fleet management and data, SMS/MMS control.
The event took place the first day in Chexbres, in the French-speaking part, cheered up with a visit of the breathtaking surroundings and a visit of a wine cellar.
The second day was in the German-speaking part, in Aarau, at the PSI Institute, a research centre for natural and engineering sciences.
